Slime or Kiss?

Is it a Slime or a Kiss? Either way it’s a fun and cute creature to crochet! Slime or Kiss works up fast and easy. The pattern also comes with wings you can attach to your Slime/Kiss. If you want to turn the Slime into a Kiss, just create and attach your Hershey string!

CROCHET HOOK – Size H-8 (5 mm)
YARN:
For Slime: LIONBRAND Vanna’s Choice Yarn
For Kiss: Patons Brilliant
NOTIONS:
Polyfill, Yarn Needle, Black Felt, Felt Glue
APPROXIMATE SIZE: 4 inches tall
NOTES: Do not join rounds. Rounds are worked continuously in a spiral.
TIPS: Use a bobby pin as a stitch marker to mark your rounds!

BODY
Round 1                6 sc into adjustable ring.
Round 2                2 sc in each st around – 12 sc.
Round 3                Sc in each st around.
Round 4                [2 sc in next st, sc in next sts] around – 18 sc.
Round 5                Sc in each st around.
Round 6                [2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts] around – 24 sc.
Round 7                Sc in each st around.
Round 8                [2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts] around – 30 sc.
Round 9                [2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts] around – 36 sc.
Round 10-13         Sc in each st around.
Round 14              In back loop, [Sc dec, sc in next 4 sts] around – 30 sc.
Round 15              Sc dec, sc in next 3 st] around – 24 sc.
Round 16              [Sc dec, sc in next 2 st] around – 18 sc.
Round 17              [Sc dec, sc in next st] around – 12 sc.
Round 18              Sc dec around – 6 sc.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Sew the open end together.

ANGEL WINGS
Round 1                6 sc into adjustable ring.
Round 2                2 sc in each st – 12 sc.
Round 3                2 dc in next st, dtr in next st.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

HERSHEY STRING
Foundation         Ch 11
Row 1                Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sl st back the row – 10 sts.
Fasten off, leaving a tail

ASSEMBLY
Stuff the body with polyfil. Attach optional wings or Hershey string. Cut 2 small circles from felt for the eyes. Cut a smile from black felt for the mouth. Glue them on the poring. You can also embroider the face instead.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have just created your very own Slime!
