It’s been awhile since I’ve had a free crochet pattern on my website. So let’s get to it! I love all things wrapped in Nori (seaweed) aka Gim (Korean for seaweed). Here’s an amigurumi onigiri I created. Onigiri is basically a rice ball wrapped in seaweed paper. They’re often triangular shaped. This one has a cute face on it because… well aren’t food things so much cuter with faces on them? ^^

February 3, 2014 at 7:28 amHi! I’m using this pattern to make earrings. It’s absolutely cute. I may be wrong but I think there is a couple of mistakes in the pattern. In the rice part, round 9 to 11 are sc around every st, but for the next round “round 11” is written again, should it say “round 12”?; and in this round in order to decrease from 30 to 24 stitches, shouldn’t it be [Sc2tog, sc in 3 next st]?
Thanks again for this pattern, it’s lovely ^^
