It’s crochet Gengar, a shadow type Pokemon that loves giving people a good scare! This free Gengar amigurumi pattern is a continuation of my “Gotta Crochet ‘Em All” Pokemon series. I design chibi Pokemon so that they can fit inside a Pokeball that can open or close.
Crochet Gengar features include a very Cheshire-like smile and two horns atop his head. He also has 3 spikes and a tail on his back.
His eyes and wicked grin are made from felt. I use acrylic gems to give him gleaming eyes that sparkle. It makes him all the more striking and prankster-like. I like to double back the felt with black to really make his features pop. Here he is escaping his Pokeball!
He’s a great size to make into a keychain.
Uh-oh, it’s double the trouble when you have 2 Gengars!
So which one of my crochet Pokemon series have you made so far? I’m excited you’ll be able to add Gengar amigurumi into the mix. He’s sure to be up to some wicked trouble!
